We are delighted to announce that the Oncology Data Network (ODN) has been awarded the 2019 Future Award by the Club der Gesundheitswirtschaft – cdgw (Club of Healthcare Industry). The Club of Healthcare Industry is a German business club and network bringing together hospitals, companies and service providers. The award recognises innovation in healthcare with the selection criteria encompassing originality, creativity, network character, practicability, patient and customer benefits, social relevance and cost efficiency.
The cdgw “Future Award Healthcare Industry” ceremony took place in Berlin on 9 October 2019. Six finalists from 32 applicants presented their innovative projects at the event with the audience voting for the winner in a secret ballot. There were approx. 120 cdgw members and guests at the event representing various healthcare companies and hospitals.
Dr. med. Thorsten Dusberger, ODN Country Lead for the DACH region, is pictured below accepting the Future Award from Christoph Hirschfeld, Head of Healthcare at Thieme Group (media partner for the award).
The ODN will be donating their €2,500 prize money to two charities: the ‘Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer’ (Frankfurter Stiftung für krebskranke Kinder) and ‘Help for Children with Cancer’ (Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V.)
